IRISH HORSE BOARD
Tullyraine Equine Clinic is on the X-ray panel of the Irish Horse Board. Radiographs taken at TEC are accepted for inclusion in any of the IHB’s breeding schemes. We can also perform the required stallion vettings for stallions which are to be presented at the IHB stallion inspections. Hugh is involved in the IHB stallion inspections and Inge in the IHB mare inspections.

JOINT MEASUREMENT BOARD
Hugh is appointed by the Joint Measurement Board to carry out official measurements. It requires the horse or pony to be brought to Tullyraine Equine Clinic, where it can be measured on a certified level floor (regularly inspected by the JMB) with a calibrated measuring stick.

IRISH SHOW JUMPING ASSOCIATION
Hugh is a referee for the Irish Show Jumping Association concerning measurement disputes. At the request of SJAI, he will remeasure a pony or horse of which a previous measuring has been contentious.
ASSOCIATION OF IRISH RACECOURSE VETERINARY SURGEONS
As members of the AIRCVS (Association of Irish Racecourse Veterinary Surgeons), Hugh, Cormac and Inge can work as racecourse vets on race days to look after the health and welfare of the racehorses. We mainly cover Down Royal Racecourse and Downpatrick Racecourse.
IRISH HORSE RACING BOARD
Inge is an appointed Official Veterinarian for the IHRB, previously known as ‘ the Irish Turf Club’. Currently she has taken a step back from race-course duties, but she is still officiating at point to points.
FEDERATION EQUINE INTERNATIONAL
Both Inge and Hugh are FEI permitted treating veterinarians, as such they are able to provide veterinary care to competition horses at FEI registered events. Our vets are also regularly seen at local competitions (Eventing Ireland, SJAI) or point to points. We provide veterinary cover in cases of injuries or disease.
